Holy shit, that's one expensive Omaha home.

From the looks of the front of it, I expected to see maybe 400K. Holy shit, that's one expensive Omaha home.

It's bigger than I thought, the lot is great, and is finished very nicely, but holy shit, that's one expensive Omaha home.

I just showed it to Mrs McMike, who grew up in Omaha (WARRIORS RULE), and she looked at it and said, "wow." (Which in sleepy Mrs McMike talk for "Holy shit, that's one expensive Omaha home")

I don't get it. What the hell is making that one $2.5M?

That was her high-school mascot.

We went back for her 20th a few years ago and I couldn't stop screaming that and "92 rules!" and high-fiving everyone she introduced me to.

She did. Class of 92. I think her brother was class of 90.

At one point, her folks downsized and moved to a new condo in an old furniture warehouse building downtown. It was a nice place to visit, as you could walk home from Mr Toads.

They've since retired to CO, so no more Omaha visits.

As far as that being a $400k home, that's a bit...optimistic. $400k gets you a nice house, but much more humble than that.
